Pois então, falando com o professor Noguerol (UFRGS) surgiu a questão da dificuldade em se produzir um bom artigo sobre história econômica. Na verdade, leva tempo, pois:
1. Ter uma hipótese.
2. Levantar documentação primária (documentos de época depositado em arquivos, como o Arquivo Nacional).
3. Se conseguir os dados (ou documentos), analisar a compatibilidade com a tua hipótese inicial e teu argumento teórico.
4. Redação.
5. Ufa…

Encontro acadêmico longe a beça

The Japanese Society for The History of Economic Thought

The 72nd Annual Conference of the Japanese Society for the History of Economic Thought (JSHET) will be held on May 24-25, 2008 at Ehime University, Ehime, Japan.

The organizing committee invites proposals for individual papers (in English or Japanese) on all aspects of the history of economic thought.

Submissions should be mailed to kkurita@io.ocn.ne.jp. Each author should send his/her abstract of about 600 words in English or 2,000 letters in Japanese for a paper, as an attached document (PDF or WORD format) to an electronic mail containing the title of the paper, his/her name, affiliation, postal and electronic adresses and the fax number. The deadline for submission is October 6, 2007.

A complete list of accepted contributions and a provisional programme would be available on November 31, 2007. The outlines (within 6 pages of format A4) of the paper should be submitted by March 15, 2008. They will be printed and mailed to all participants one month before the conference.

The fee for non-members of JSHET to present a paper at the conference is 6,000 yen.
