De qualquer forma, estava relendo uma palestra de Stigler onde ele iniciava o texto assim:
In my title I use the language of Bentham, and perhaps I should have asked Lord Harris to use his good offices to borrow Mr. Bentham from University College, London, for this occasion. I am far from confident, however, that Bentham would approve of my preferences; and if he were to begin frowning as I spoke, I should be quite unnerved. [Stigler, G.J. The Pleasures and Pains of Modern Capitalism. In Wood, G.E. (ed) Explorations in Economic Liberalism – The Wincott Lectures, MacMillan Press, 1996]
Vem cá, o cara tinha bom humor, não? 🙂
